A natural eczema remedy provides long term relief, as opposed to steroid medications. Drugstore eczema creams contain harsh chemicals and steroids, which may cause skin thinning and bleaching. They provide immediate but temporary relief from itch and inflammation. Homemade remedies aren’t as convenient to use as store-bought eczema creams. Nonetheless, they are made of natural ingredients. You can be sure that what goes into your skin is free from any harmful chemicals.

A home made Eczema remedy is easy to prepare and is less expensive than a commercially prepared cream. Its ingredients are readily available in groceries. Some can also be found in your home. Ingredients such as coconut oil are even edible, so you can be sure of your Eczema remedy’s safety.

Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that relieves dryness. Aloe Vera gel and Shea butter are good Eczema remedy options. Most products already bear these components, but it is suggested to apply them in their unprocessed form. Untreated Shea butter must have a yellow color. Aloe Vera gel can be drawn out from an aloe leaf by breaking it in half. You may blend fresh aloe vera gel in a food processor for a more fluid texture.

Oatmeal baths offer short-term alleviation from itch, as it brings down inflammation and soreness. Use a blender to process a cup of uncooked oats until they turn powdery. Sprinkle powdered oatmeal into your bathtub. Oatmeal has anti-inflammatory attributes, which makes it a perfect Eczema remedy. It is mild enough for face Eczema. To create your own facial mask, mix powdered oatmeal with warm water to create a thick mixture. Leave this mask on your skin for 15 minutes before washing off.

A mixture of camphor oil and sandalwood powder can be used as a cooling Eczema remedy. Combine powdered sandalwood and camphor oil to form a thick paste. Apply this mixture on affected areas and allow to soak for a few minutes. Rinse all residue with water and apply mositurizer if desired. You may also use turmeric powder mixed with water.

A homemade Eczema remedy is effective but can be messy to make. Our Eczema creams are equally safe and can heal Eczema rashes in less than 10 days.
